Our kit hire is now closed. We are selling off boots, crampons, gaiters, ice axes, helmets, poles and snow shovels, get in touch if you are interested.

Think before you go winter mountaineering
Plan ahead: Check the weather forecast, see what others have to say and read today’s SAIS avalanche forecast. Do you know what to do in case of an emergency or an accident? Visit Lochaber Mountain Rescue website for information.
Be prepared: Warm clothing, waterproof clothing, rucksack, map, compass… all can be bought in Fort William at Ellis Brigham (easy parking outside), Cotswold Outdoor or Nevisport.
