Alan Kimber Kit Hire

PLEASE NOTE: KIT HIRE IS CLOSED BETWEEN APRIL 24TH AND MAY 1ST 2024

Replies for bookings outwith these dates may be slower as we are away on holiday.

Kit hire Fort William at Calluna, in partnership with Alan Kimber Mountaineering has the following available:

Winter boots B2/B3 £7 per day
Crampons C1/C2 £7 per day
Walking axe £7 per day
Climbing helmet £7 per day
Walking poles £7 per day

If you are only wanting to hire crampons, you must have a B2 or B3 boot, these are fully rigid soled, four season boots. You will be asked to bring your boots with you when collecting the crampons. If your boots are not compatible with our crampons, our staff have the right to refuse you crampon hire, unless you hire boots as well.

When arriving for kit hire please come to reception under the carport, ring the doorbell and we will come and meet you.

Collection is available from 7-9 am and 5-9 pm, 7 days a week. We prefer you to collect the previous night for the next day hire. Get in touch if you need to collect outside of these hours. Payment is to be made on collection and can be made by cash or card.

When returning kit to Calluna, please ring the doorbell at reception, under the carport. Kit is to be returned at the end of your last days hire. This allows us to get kit into the drying room and ready for the next customer.
